Renovation of half of the existing building at 151 Synder Place. The interior space will contain offices, bathrooms, storage space, and a lecture hall. There is also an exterior ramp and two potential alternates. The other half of the building is an operational Health Clinic.

This RFLOI is to solicit responses (LETTERS of INTEREST, or LOIs) from qualified firms to provide professional consulting services to: Complete all surveying, planning, and design required to submit a complete set of Plans, Specifications, and Estimate (PS&E) package to construct improvements for the Helms Rd extension from Waxhaw-Marvin Rd to NC 16. Project will tie-in to P-5748 project on western limits and upgrade existing Waxhaw Parkway to NC 16.

The Project consists of installation of four fiberglass flow metering manholes, one precast flow metering manhole, and all appurtenances. The estimated cost for construction is $297,000.

The work to be done consist of furnishing all the materials, equipment and labor necessary to construct the new Red Hill Water Interconnect 16-inch HDD Line B consisting of the following quantities: Approximately 3,016 LF of 16” HDPE Water Main installed by Horizontal Directional Drill and associated appurtenances.

The Project consists of constructing electrical improvements including replacement of the generator and fuel tank, electrical feeders, electrical panels, and motor starters. The estimate cost for construction is $4,190,000.

Rehabilitation and enhancement of the sewer collection system

Scope of work includes but is not limited to: submittals, the demolition, construction, electrical and mechanical work, all finishes, the receiving, placement, and startup of all equipment, scheduling through the owner’s representative all inspections, all in accordance with the construction documents. Contractor shall maintain the construction entrances. This shall include (but not necessarily be limited to) grading, filling of ruts and potholes, and maintaining proper drainage. Maintenance of entry gates shall also be the contractor’s responsibility. Adjacent public streets, sidewalks, curbs, and parking lots shall be swept, scraped, washed and kept clean daily (more often as necessary) throughout all operations.

Replacement of the existing galvanized waterlines in two (2) locations, • Division 1 – North First Street o Installation of 494 linear feet of 6-inch DIP waterline along North First Street (SC-130) • Division 2 – Royal Acres Neighborhood o Installation of 3,915 linear feet of 2.5-inch PVC waterline along Ravenel Circle (SE-170), Royal Summit Drive (SE-169), and Fort Hill Drive (SE-404). o Installation of 68 linear feet of 2-inch poly pipe in 3-inch HDPE casing, bored under road in three (3) locations.
