Gaston County Courthouse 5th Floor Upfit consists of approximately 46,000 sf of first generation upfit space on the 5th Floor of the Gaston County Courthouse. Special Inspections and Materials Testing services are requested for the duration of the project.

Gaston County, NC is requesting sealed bids for Gaston County Courthouse 5th Floor Upfit. The project consists of approximately 46,000 sf of first generation upfit space on the 5th Floor of the Gaston County Courthouse, located at 325 Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Way, Gastonia, NC 28052. The project includes courtrooms, office and support spaces, and the following building systems or components: mechanical, electrical, plumbing, fire protection, IT, Audio Visual and Security. Fire alarm upgrades will be performed on all other floors. The project will be financed with OSBM grant and local funds.

Extension of the Avon Creek Greenway from where it currently ends at E 2nd Avenue to the intersection of S Belvedere Ave and US-74. Work consists of new curb and gutter, sidewalks, multi-use path, asphalt resurfacing, and grading.

Installation of new wet well, three (3) new manholes, approximately 70-linear feet of 18-inch gravity sewer, approximately 60-linear feet of 24-inch gravity sewer, new VFD’s and a new magnetic meter. Additionally, the project includes re-piping the existing valve vault, reconnection to the existing force main, replacement of pumps, bypass pumping and all other work as shown in the bid documents.

The City of High Point is seeking bids for the West Ray Drainage Improvements project, which consists of drainage upgrades and related construction activities within the project area near Council Street. The project includes land-disturbing work up to the approved 7 acres and requires furnishing all labor, equipment, and materials necessary to complete the drainage improvements as shown in the project plans. Contractors will be responsible for performing all associated grading, excavation, and site restoration needed to deliver a fully completed drainage improvement project.

Mooresville's Main Library is located at 304 South Main St. Mooresville, NC. The library renovation will include a phased renovation of the interior of the library including but not limited to interior wall reconfiguration, interior finish updates, reorganization of the library collections, new check out desk, vestibule remodel, staff work space reconfiguration and any other work as described or implied in the contract documents. The lower floor and some areas on the first floor of the library must remain operational to the public while under construction.

The project consists of a proposed guardhouse conventional framed building with associated sidewalks, parking surfaces, driveway improvements, roadway asphalt pavement widening to accommodate additional lanes and a vehicle turnaround bulb-out, and access control gates. Water piping extensions and associated appurtenances will serve the facility from South Point Road. A septic system will be proposed to collect and treat wastewater from the guardhouse. The project will be financed with local funds.

Construction of a new 2 story 120,000 SF building addition and roadway improvements

A new 3.7 acre waterpark as part of the new Southmont Community Park. The park contains several pools, slides, and a lazy river. This project also has five buildings within the waterpark itself.

A new 62000 SF pre-engineered metal building contained within the new Southmont Community Park in Lexington, NC. This building contains four indoor gyms, two indoor pools (competition and recreational), offices, meetings rooms, and other spaces.
