This project is to rehabilitate (mill-and-fill overlay) the existing terminal apron (pavement area approximately 4,950 SY) to provide aircraft parking in front of the newly constructed airport terminal building. The mill-and-fill overlay will be constructed of bituminous asphalt, meeting applicable FAA design standards for Group B-1 small aircraft for pavement strength, geometry, and aircraft parking. The scope of the project generally includes the following: • Approximately 2-inches of bituminous pavement milling. • Approximately 2-inches of FAA specification bituminous asphalt pavement overlay. • Install aircraft parking position tie-downs (approximately 15 EA). • The apron is to be marked to accommodate Group I aircraft parking and circulation around the apron to the taxiways and aircraft refueling area.

This project is to expand the existing terminal apron by an additional 85 ft. (new pavement area approximately 1,600 SY) to provide aircraft parking in front of the newly constructed airport terminal building. The apron expansion will be constructed of bituminous asphalt, meeting applicable FAA design standards for Group B-1 small aircraft for pavement strength, geometry, and aircraft parking. The scope of the project generally includes the following: Site grading and installation of drainage structures and piping (approximately 4 drainage structures and 500 LF of piping). Construct approximately 85 ft. by 160 ft. FAA specification bituminous asphalt pavement on FAA specification compacted base and subbase material (approximately 13,600 SF total pavement area). Install aircraft parking position tie-downs (approximately 9 EA).

This project is to remove the existing Runway 27 approach end turnaround “button” pavement and reconstruct a new 25 ft. wide, bituminous asphalt turnaround taxiway at the location as shown on the Airport Layout Plan, meeting applicable FAA design standards for location, pavement width, and pavement strength. The scope of the project includes the following: Removal of existing turnaround button bituminous asphalt pavement, Runway Safety Area grading, seeding, and mulching (approximately 5,862 SF area). Grade and install drainage for turnaround taxiway on south side of Runway 27 end. Construct Runway 27 approach end 25 ft. wide, bituminous asphalt turnaround taxiway pavement (approximately 11,462 SF total pavement area) on south side of Runway 27 end. Construct Medium Intensity Taxiway Edge Lights (MITL) surrounding turnaround taxiway.

Rehabilitate the Apron AP-B (fuel farm area) concrete pavement by replacing several Portland Cement Concrete panels and repairing and sealing cracks, spalls, and joints for the remaining panels (approximately 2,602 SY area). Reconstruct two (ODOT 2-2-B) drainage inlets and associated piping located within Apron AP-B pavement area.

This project includes site work preparation for future development. The scope of the project includes the following: Installation of Drainage, Embankment and site grading for future development, Associated Erosion and Sediment Control Measures.

The scope of the project includes the following: Demolition of existing drainage features, Embankment and site grading for future development, Paving of apron area for future development, Installation of new drainage network, Associated Erosion and sediment control.

The North End Hangar Development project is for the erection of a box hangar at the Montgomery County Airpark. The project includes construction of the box hangar, foundations, stormwater conveyances, all utilities required for the building, and construction of an access drive and parking lot.

This project will consist of installation of erosion and sediment control measures, site grading, construction of retaining wall, site stormwater and drainage, construction of taxilane and apron pavements, and new pavement markings.

This project will consist of the replacement of the RW 3-21 PAPIs from the existing incandescent 2-unit PAPI systems on both ends of the runway with new 4-unit LED PAPIs systems.

The T-Hangar Construction project is for the erection of a 12-unit T-Hangar at the New Kent County Airport. The project includes construction of the T-Hangar, foundations, stormwater conveyances, all utilities required for the building, and construction of a sidewalk.
