RFP - Gaston County - Duharts Creek Stream Rehabilitation Assistance Program

Attendance at one (1) of the two (2) Pre-Proposal site visits is required by any Offeror submitting a Proposal. Site location for Pre-Proposal Site Visits is 3180 Redbud Dr., Gastonia, NC 28054.

Pre-Proposal Site Visit Option #2: Monday, September 29, 2025, at 1:30pm

Proposal questions will be due on or before Wednesday, October 7th, 2025. The primary purpose is to provide participating Offerors with the opportunity to ask questions, in writing, related to the RFP.

Submit questions in a Word Document or in the body of an email and send to Joseph Lineberger at Joseph.Lineberger@gastongov.com by the deadline shown above. The email subject line should identify the project title. All questions and answers will be posted as addenda.

Sealed proposals will be received by Gaston County Natural Resources Department, located at 1303 Dallas Cherryville Hwy, Dallas, NC, 28034, until Thursday, October 14th, 2025, at 3:00pm. Late submittals will not be accepted.

Gaston County, North Carolina, through the Gaston County Natural Resource Department, is soliciting proposals from experienced and qualified contractors to provide Stream Debris Removal Services in Gaston County.

Gaston County will not be responsible for plans and specs obtained from other sources outside of Duncan Parnell bidroom.

Gaston County reserves the right to accept or to reject in whole or in part any and all bids submitted. The County also reserves the right to accept or reject any and all phases, sections, or alternates of the proposals submitted; however, it may waive any minor defects or informalities at its discretion.

Offerors are required to comply with the non-collusion requirements set forth in the Solicitation Documents.
