Spartanburg, SC - Highway 9-Rainbow Lake Road Waterline Installation Project

Questions should be directed to the attention of Kevin Smith ksmith@spartanburgwater.org, and must be received prior to 5:00 p.m. on Monday August 4, 2025, which will be distributed to all plan-holders of record.

A satisfactory Bid Bond provided by an acceptable surety (or the cash equivalent) in an amount equal to five percent (5%) of the total bid shall be submitted with each bid.

The Owner reserves the right to accept or reject any bids or proposals that appear to be in the best interest of the Owner, and further reserves the right to waive irregularities in the bids and to reject any and all bids received.

Performance and payment bonds in an amount equal to one hundred percent (100%) of the contract price will be required. The bonds must be secured by cash or must be issued by a surety company licensed in the State of South Carolina with an "A" minimum rating of performance as stated in the most current publication of "Best Key Rating Guide, Property Liability."

Certificates of insurance naming the Owner as an additional insured and with limits as noted in the bid documents will be required.

Contractors submitting bids shall be properly licensed in the State of South Carolina to bid and perform the work on which the bid is submitted at the date of the bid.
