REBID - Wake Forest, NC - Fall Lake State Recreation Area - Sewer Improvements

The Project consists of the complete rehabilitation of existing wastewater pump stations and replacement of associated wastewater system components throughout the park. The scope includes but is not limited to the replacement of pumps, control systems, and electrical upgrades within the exist pump stations as well as the replacement of valves, flow meters, water shut off solenoid valves, and contact chamber rehabilitations across the park’s systems.

A mandatory pre-bid meeting will be held for all interested bidders at the Falls Lake State Recreation Area Visitors Center on February 13, 2025 at 2:00PM. The meeting will address project specific questions, issues, bidding procedures and bid forms.

Sealed proposals will be received by the N.C. Department of Natural and Cultural Resources, Division of Parks and Recreation, in Wake Forest, NC, at the Falls Lake State Recreation Area Visitors Center (13304 Creedmoor Rd, Wake Forest, NC 27587) up to 2:00 pm, February 27, 2025

General contractors are notified that Chapter 87, Article 1, General Statutes of North Carolina, will be observed in receiving and awarding general contracts. General contractors submitting bids on this project must have license classification for Building Contractor Unlimited, or Public Utilities Contractor Unlimited (GS87-1.1 - Rules .0210).
