Charleston, SC - RFQ - New D10 Middle School

The work includes, but is not limited to, the construction of a new, two-story, fully sprinkled, 103,000 square foot building addition located on the existing C.E. Williams Middle School North Campus (1776 William Kennerty Drive, Charleston, SC 29407). The facility will be composed predominantly of load bearing masonry veneered with utility brick and reinforced with structural steel, joists, trusses, and metal decking. The roof system is a 2-ply modified bitumen system. Mechanical system is an air-to-air direct expansion system with dedicated outdoor air units. Finishes will include but are not limited to: SVT, ceramic and quarry tile, sealed concrete flooring, carpet, acoustical ceilings, paint, casework, marker/tack boards, and kitchen equipment. The package includes an elevator, basic electrical services, life safety systems, information technology systems, and cable trays.

Any additions, deletions, modifications or changes made to this RFQ shall be made by the Charleston County School District’s Construction Procurement Officer. All Addendums will be sent directly to RFQ respondents. Requests for interpretation of this RFQ and any other questions concerning the RFQ shall be made in writing and addressed to Lawrence Lutrario, Construction Procurement Officer with a copy to Program Manager, and received no later than 12:00 P.M. on November 4, 2024. Responses to said requests shall be made at the discretion of the Purchasing Department. When issued, such interpretations and answers to such questions shall be in the form of an addendum to the RFQ, which will be emailed to each firm to which these RFQ documents have been issued. All such addenda shall become part of the RFQ and each Offeror shall be bound by such addenda whether or not received by the Offeror.
