Angola, IN - Install Wildlife Perimeter Fence (17051)
The scope of the project includes construction of a 10-foot-tall perimeter wildlife exclusion fence surrounding the airport. Major work elements include fence line clearing, fence construction through wetland areas*, demolition of existing 4’ farm and chain-link fence and construction of a chain-link wildlife fence with barbed-wire top, and angled wildlife skirting buried under the ground (approximately 2-feet deep angled approximately 4-feet out from the base of the fence). The project also includes the construction of double-swing vehicle gates surrounding the perimeter of the fence, and within the terminal and T-hangar areas of the airport, two pivot gates with electric gate operators, two manual pedestrian gates, and associated pavement.
